Bulls still struggling with injuries

Hereford United travel to Canvey Island tomorrow for a Conference League game with just enough fit players.

Although those who played at Kington on Tuesday evening are said to have come through the game with no problems, the Bulls had two under 18 players on the bench to make up numbers. Although named in the 16, Andy Ferrell wasn't risked and Tamika Mkandawire was away on England duty.

Tony James, Jamie Pitman and Guy Ipoua are not expected to have recovered from their respective injuries for the game tomorrow. There are also doubts about Danny Carey-Bertram and loan winger Nicky Nicolau. Carey-Bertram has a hamstring strain and Nicolau is said to have an infected toe.

Youngster Sam Gwynne, who impressed at Kington, will be in the squad.

Meanwhile Canvey Island are expected to have Alan Tait back in their squad after injury. However top scorer Lee Boylan haven't recovered from his lay-off in time.
