Latest Boro injury news

Below is the latest injury news from the Official Stevenage Borough Website as published at 9pm this evening:

The busiest department at Stevenage Borough remains in physiotherapy where the days have been long and the attendance levels high.

Luke Oliver has been told by doctors to rest for at least another fortnight after a scan of his calf problem.

Meanwhile Barry Laker continues to recover from his facial operation and will stay sidelined for another 3/4 weeks.

Danny Williams will see a specialist this week about his persistant tendon problem.

Whilst youngsters Ieaun Lewis and Lawrie Stewart are making progress and may train within 10 days.

Darryn Stamp has trained after being forced off against Canvey and may be available to start at Hereford. But Jon Nurse sees a specialist on Wednesday about his groin troubles. Nurse has offered to give the team 20 minutes from the bench at Edgar Street. Graham Westley is sure to remember his impact there last year in the semi final win and may well accept that offer.

Ollie Berquez came through his 45 minute outing against Canvey unscathed and will again be involved. Mickey Warner will need a late fitness test before a final decision is made on his availability. Like Nurse, Warner will make himself available from the bench if numbers are needed.

Shane Gore is progressing steadily and hopes to make the trip to Exeter. Dave Perpetuini will miss the trip through suspension giving Justin Gregory the chance to continue the impressive form he showed before the birth of his son.
