Preview: Morecambe vs Bulls

The Bulls travel to Morecambe on Saturday for another crucial game in their fight to overhaul Accrington.

It's a fixture that the home team has dominated, with the Bulls getting a solitary away win on their first Conference trip to Christie Park in November 1997, while Morecambe have only won twice at Edgar Street.

The Bulls will be encouraged with the 1-0 win gained at Edgar Street in September - Andy Ferrell getting his only goal of the campaign so far just before half time with Morecambe finishing the game with 10 men following Chris Blackburn's late dismissal for two bookings.

The Bulls also go into the game on the back of a 12 match unbeaten run, and nearly five months since they lost an away game in the Conference.

Morecambe have been poor on their travels, losing their last three away games, but at home their record is much better averaging two goals a game and losing just twice in 15 occasions. They do have their slip-ups though - as a 3-0 reverse at home to Scarboro at the end of January will confirm. They have also lost their last two matches, away at Accrington and Aldershot.

Morecambe vs Hereford United, Christie Park, Saturday 4th March, 3.00pm.
