Tamika Mkandawire has told the Hereford Times that Saturday will be the biggest game of my career so far.
"I think it is the same for most of the team, so we are all looking forward to it.
"There will be a lot of razzmatazz involved with the final. It's a great occasion for all of us.
"Halifax are a very good team, tough to break down. I don't think there will be many goals in the game, perhaps 1-0."
To be captain the Hereford United side at the Walkers Stadium is a great acheivement for Mkandawire.
Many supporters will remember his first appearance at Edgar Street when he played for a young West Bromwich Albion team in a friendly.
On that evening he had to leave the pitch after local referee Andy Williams spotted a foul and didn't want to give him a card.
Mkandawire has come a long way since that evening and must be heading for greater things hopefully with the Bulls in League Two next season.
