An independent Wolves Website, Wolvescentral.com, has commented on the news that Hereford are back in the Football League:
Ex Wolves defender Ryan Green scored the stunning winner to get Hereford promoted back to the football league gainst Halifax at the Walkers Stadium yesterday.
After twice being behind Hereford came back to win the game with a stunning left foot shot from ex Wolf Ryan Green in the 108th minute. His over the top celebrations taking his shirt off then picking up the corner flag earned him a yellow card.
Green was at Wolves from a trainee. He signed pro forms in 1997 and stayed at Molineux until October 2001 when he went on a free transfer to Millwall. He finally settled at Hereford in the summer of 2003 and has since played 85 league games for the Bulls
Turner's record speaks for itself at Wolves. He hauled Wolves from the doldrums all those years ago (October 1986). He signed God and the rest is History... promotions, league titles and the Sherpa Van !!. He was relieved of his duties at Wolves in 1994 but Wolves fans will always be eternally grateful for what he did for our club
Best wishes to Graham and Ryan in the football league
