Hill Chases More Ex-Bulls

Having already signed up ex-Bulls Ben Smith and Tony James in recent months, Weymouth boss Garry Hill is lining up moves for two more.

Steve Guinan and Michael Rose, both members of the side that demolished Hill's Dagenham 9-0, are both attracting interest from the big spending Conference new boys.

They are likely to miss out on Guinan, who is keen to remain in the Football League, but are in pole position to capture Rose who departed Yeovil last month after a very disappointing season.

He was named in the PFA League Two team of the year in his first season at Huish Park, but failed to make the League One grade and was farmed out for a disappointing loan spell at Scunthorpe. A move to Weymouth would reunited him with brother-in-law James, who signed for the club days after his Bulls release.
