After weeks of speculation, Hereford United have confirmed that Gareth Sheldon has signed a one year deal at Edgar Street.
Sheldon, 25, left Kidderminster Harriers after a disappointing season. He was believed to have chosen Kiddy over the Bulls last summer after leaving Exeter, but has finally made the move to Edgar Street.
The versatile left sided attacking player, who can play left wing, midfield, or as a central striker, was said to be carry additional weight which restricted his performances last season. However a strong pre-season under fitness coach Tony Ford may bring the best back out of a player who has over 100 Football League appearances already under his belt from his time at Scunthorpe and Exeter.
