It was rumoured on Thursday that Swansea were about to place a bid for a 'newly promoted League Two defender', with suggestions that it was the Bulls own Tamika Mkandawire.
However, that information may be false after Swansea made an official approach for Wycombe's captain Roger Johnson. The 6ft 3in central defender has spent six years as a pro at Adams Park, and Swansea are waiting on Wycombe's response on the player.
