Baker transfer listed

Former Hereford United goalkeeper, Matt Baker, has been transfer listed by MK Dons.

26 year-old Baker has been deemed surplus to requirements at the National Hockey Stadium following the arrival of former Brentford keeper Ademola Bankole, 36, as player/goalkeeping coach this month reports Milton Keynes today.

It is understood Baker has been told he is free to leave as soon as he fixes himself up with a new club.

The 6ft stopper, who has a year left on his contract, has played 62 games for the Dons after being signed from Wrexham by former boss Danny Wilson in December 2004.

He moved to Wrexham from Hereford in summer 2004.
