Hereford United start their friendly games a week next Saturday with the visit of Birmingham City. Currently the Official Birmingham Website says this will be a reserve team.
There are five friendlies listed to date, and one of those is the Cup game against Westfields.
However as the season starts on August 5th with the game at Stockport it is expected that any other friendlies will be announced this week. Normally the Bulls visit a couple of local clubs, but only the game at Forest Green has yet been confirmed.
List of Pre-season fixtures:
Sat July 15th: Birmingham City Reserves - Edgar Street - 3.00pm
Tues July 18th: Westfields - Edgar Street - 7.45pm
Sat July 22nd: Bristol Rovers - Edgar Street - 3.00pm
Tues July 25th: Forest Green - The New Lawn - 7.45pm
Sat July 29th: Cheltenham Town - Edgar Street - 3.00pm
Meanwhile Sky are listing the away game at Grimsby on Sunday October 8th as a 4pm start. If confirmed the game will be the first this season in League Two to be covered by Sky. It is a tribute to Hereford United that a game involving the Bulls have been selected in front of the other newcomers to League Two, Accrington Stanley.
