Ex-Hereford United player Ryan Green has picked up a knee injury in training and is expected to miss at least two friendly games for his new club.
"Ryan's had a bit of trouble with his knee, but other than that we've been ok with injuries," Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told their website.
"We've tried to prevent them by taking every measure we can, although maybe the fact Ryan has come in from another club has something to do with it.
"He wasn't with us last year, and the training here can be quite intense, which has perhaps caught him by surprise. But it's not a major thing, and if he's not able to play on Saturday then we hope he'll be involved in the next one."
Meanwhile the Shropshire Star has reported that Davion Hamilton is on trial with Hereford United. Hamilton has been with Telford.
