Gulliver needs to get fit

Graham Turner has spoken to the Hereford Times about Phil Gulliver, who joined the Bulls this week.

"He will provide competition for places with Dean Beckwith and Tamika mkandawire and will give us the option of playing three centre-halves if we so wish.

"He's not been training so he needs to get fit and is unlikely to play much of a part in our home friendly with Bristol City on Saturday."

Meanwhile it is reported this morning that former Hereford United player Roger Griffiths has died suddenly.

He was one of the team that played against Newcastle in 1972.
