One of the features of Ron Parrott's new book, the Wilderness Years 1997 to 2006, is the ability to forward order the book and have your choice of player from Hereford United's time in the Conference put in the back of the book along with your name.

The same feature was used by Parrott in his book Hereford United - The League Era 1972/1997.

Then over 260 supporters voted for 54 different players.

McNeil had 44 votes or just 17% of the votes.

There doesn't seem an obvious player to top the list this time. Candidates may include such former players as (in no particular order) Gavin Mahon, Paul Parry, Gavin Williams, Steve Guinan, Ian Wright, Scott Cooksey, and Michael McIndoe or possibly someone from last season such as Tamika Mkanadwire.
