One of the trialists currently at Hereford United is Steve May who has been with Brighton.
May has played in both Hereford United friendlies mainly at right back but also in other defensive positions.
Last March, May went on loan to Bournemouth where he played for the Cherries reserve against Bristol City reserves. It was reported that Richard O'Kelly was 'taking a look at him'.
He didn't stay with the Cherries for long as in April he played for the Brighton reserve team against Aldershot.
The Brighton Website says May is a right back who likes to get forward and points out that his father, Larry May, was a former Brighton defender. May Senior was also a member of the Leicester City side that put the Bulls, and Graham Turner's Shrewsbury, out of the FA Cup in 1982.
