Bulls fans raise cancer funds

A small group of Hereford United supporters have raised £8,100 for the Macmillan Renton Appeal.

The Appeal was launched to with the aim of bringing better cancer care to Hereford Hospital. At present patients often have to travel long distances to Cheltenham or Cardiff for treatment.

Organised by Bulls News, the Hay-on-Wye based supporters manned a charity car park for the ten days while the Hay Festival was taking place.

A cheque was presented to Ron Davies OBE, who is in charge of the fundraising, at the recent home game against Chester.

Bulls News would like to record their thanks to Graham Turner, Joan Fennessy and in particular Grenville Smith for their help allowing the presentation to take place at Edgar Street.
