BBC Hereford and Worcester had an item late this afternoon on the Hereford United victory over Coventry last night.
During the report Bulls News contributor Ex-Landlord was interviewed by Richard Wilford. Below is a little of what he said.
"I felt for a while that the squad was capable of playing that sort of football and they turned it on last night.
"I think Fleetwood himself would be the first to admit that the contribution that Tim Sills made last night was phenomenal. I watched him play six or seven times and I've never seen him win so much in the air last night. He was absolutely superb.
"Just want to see that brand of football carried forward now.
"I think we approached the game a little bit differently when we get the one-off games.
"I sat in the stand last night which is unusual for me as I'm a hardened Meadow Ender. I just decided, after watching the Barnet game which was poor to say the least, to see the game from a little higher up and get more prespective on the movement of the game.
"I was very impressed. I thought the whole team performed well last night. They worked for each other. They were making themselves available for the ball better. The whole performance was completely different.
"The ability is there within the squad to do it on a regular basis."
Asked about the dream tie for Round Two Ex-Landlord thought the Bulls would look for a bit more glamour than (say) Scunthrope United.
"Certainly one of the big clubs. I'm sure the directors would love to see a Premier Division side possibly away with a thirty, fourty thousand gate. Money means an awful lot to the football club even now.
"But you know what going to happen now. It's going to be bloody Accrington Stanley away on a Tuesday night!"
Wilford suggested a trip to either Villa Park or Molineux would be great for Graham Turner.
"It would be a lovely present for him, particularily if we could go there and play with the style that we played with last night.
