The Western Daily Press is reporting that there was no fee involved in Phil Gulliver's eventual switch to Edgar Street:
"Hereford United chief Graham Turner has finally secured the services of former Rushden & Diamonds defender Phil Gulliver. Gulliver originally signed for Hereford last week, but was recalled by Diamonds, who claimed they would be entitled to a transfer fee as they had offered the 23-year-old a new contract. However, following an agreement between the clubs, Gulliver reported back to Edgar Street for training yesterday.
It is understood no transfer fee has been paid."
Meanwhile, Camarthen chairman Jeff Thomas has spoken about Martyn Giles' transfer to Edgar Street: "We are pleased that we have been able to make such a vital contribution to Martyn being able to rekindle his professional career. I think it's testimony to our coaching set-up here at Richmond Park that several clubs have looked at him and that he has made the step back up to League football.
"It also shows respect for the Welsh Premier League. I think that any player wishing to follow Martyn's footsteps into the professional game can do no better than join our very excellent set up here at Richmond Park."
