Welsh call-ups can improve Fleetwood says Turner

Whilst Graham Turner was understandably annoyed that star striker Stuart Fleetwood was called into the Welsh under 21 squad very late last week before their game against Turkey, he has told BBC Hereford and Worcester this morning that he realises that Fleetwood could get called up again.

"If you've got a player playing at that level from an international side, you're quite happy with it.

"It's going to improve him; it's going to give him good experience and you don't mind that from now on."

Meanwhile Fleetwood is due to be awarded the Official Hereford United Player of the Month award for August before the Wycombe game on Tuesday evening at Edgar Street.

The bubbly will be presented by the 'Fun Bus'.

Two of the crew will make the presentation to Fleetwood. He is also to be made an honoury member of the Fun Bus Crew and given his "official" shirt. The shirts have the FunBus logo on the front and full 06/07 tour itinery on the back.
