Wycombe Wanderers are hoping to record their fifth successive win in a row at Edgar Street this evening.
If they do so it will be a club record for the Blues and the odds are pointing that way with Wycombe marked at around 5-4 to win.
However Wycombe have a few injury problems according to their Official Website.
Tommy Mooney, Russell Martin and Chris Palmer have all been on the treatment table and whereas Palmer will definitely sit out the clash, the other two are unlikely to make it.That could mean a recall for Matt Bloomfield in midfield with Jermaine Easter acting as a lone striker in attack. There could also be a chance for Stephen Gregory, Lewis Christon and Tom Cadmore, all of whom - with the exception of a brief Carling Cup outing for Gregory - have yet to be given their chance in the First Team this term. Vincent Fernandez has waited patiently in the wings for his first start since joining on loan from Nottingham Forest and a possible change in formation might see him included.
Manager Paul Lambert commented:
"With the squad the size that it is at the moment you're naturally going to get injuries that are going to cause you problems. September is a tough month as we've got a lot of games ahead but it's up to us to get through that and I'm sure we will."
As regards Hereford, comments appearing on the BBC and Sky about the possibilty of several youngsters starting this evening are expected to be wide of the mark.
Whilst Graham Turner may decide it is time to bring Alex Jeannin and Gareth Sheldon back into the team, it is not thought he will make wholesale changes. Scott Tynan will continue in goal, the back four will probably be unchanged, but some changes in midfield are likely.
Turner may also try a different combination up front to start the game.
