Chopsy Allen sent to stand

Martin Allen, the MK Dons manager, was sent to the stand after complaining bitterly about one of referee's David Deadman's decisions this afternoon. (Later Allen said he was talking to one of his players)

In truth the referee partly spoilt the game with his card happy manner.

Together he dished out seven yellow cards of which five were against Hereford in what was otherwise a reasonable clean game.

This is the highest number of cards against the Bulls in a League game for several seasons.

Before the game many of the Hereford United players were wearing 'Let's Kick Racism out of Football' T-shirts.

Rob Purdie's penalty brings his total goals this season in League games so far to seven.

Meanwhile with Trent McClenaham leaving the pitch after eighteen minutes, Hereford have a mini-injury crisis at present with Simon Travis, Tim Sills and Martyn Giles all missing today's game.

Finally, this may be the last game at the old National Hockey Stadium that Hereford will play.

MK Dons are due to move to a new stadium next season.

Despite being open to the elements the stand the Hereford supporters were sat in had very good views.
