The official Stoke site is reporting that midfielder John Eustace has joined the Bulls on loan for a month.
The 26 year old has spent the last 18 months on the sidelines with a series of injuries after joining Stoke from Coventry. He has started around 100 league games, mostly in the Championship, scoring 13 goals.
He is described by the Stoke site as a tough tackling goalscoring midfielder and was pivotal in their 2003-04 season, which saw Stoke narrowly miss a Championship play-off place, but has missed all but a handful of games since.
"John needs games to get back his full match fitness," Tony Pulis, the Stoke manager told his club's website.
"He was going to find it difficult to get back into our side so it makes sense for him to go somewhere where he can get those games."
