Ex-Bull Watch

Craig Stanley is the Morecambe hero tonight after an injury time winner saw the Shrimpers into the first round with a 2-1 win at Moor Green, who featured Danny Davidson in their squad. Exeter brought Adam Stansfield on late after the goals had come as they beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1. The Dons brought 1200 fans with them to Exeter.

In League Two Mark Robinson started, and Michael Rose made a brief subs appearance back from injury, as Stockport recorded their fourth win in five at Rochdale. Chris Mackenzie wasn't even on the bench for Shrewsbury as they drew 0-0 with Torquay.

In League One, Steve Guinan was also given the day off as Cheltenham shuffled the forward line again to try and find goals, but none came in the 2-0 defeat to Nottm Forest. They've scored just five goals in the last ten games.

In the Championship, Paul Parry supplied the first from a corner as Cardiff drew 2-2 with Derby. They remain top of the league with a 4 point gap, while in the Premiership Gavin Mahon was booked late on as he captained Watford to a rare clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Spurs.
