League Two Round Up

Walsall stay top after a 2-1 win at Accrington, and Lincoln are second after Jamie Forrester's third hat-trick of the season helped them to a 7-1 win over sorry Rochdale. Swindon are third after a late goal gave them a 2-1 over Shrewsbury.

Wycombe (4th) beat Peterboro (7th) 2-0, and Notts County bagged the same scoreline at Grimsby to move up to 5th. Darlington also recorded a 2-0 scoreline at home to Barnet, who only stay out of the relegation places on goal difference.

Chester (11th) beat Hartlepool 2-1 on Friday night, thank's largely to a highly debatable sending off of a Hartlepool player early on by a certain Northamptonshire referee.

Down the bottom, Macclesfield picked up only their fifth point of the season in a dire 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers. Macclesfield had seven booked and one sent off, triggering an automatic fine from the FA. Boston occupy the other relegation spot after a 2-1 loss to Bury, for whom on-loan Shrews striker Glynn Hurst scored his sixth in five games.

Wrexham slip to 20th after a 3-0 loss at Mansfield, and Torquay slip to 19th after a 1-0 loss to fellow strugglers Stockport.
