Former Hereford United star Paul Parry could become the successor to Ryan Giggs in the Welsh squad if his current form continues.
This morning's Western Mail has a story with quotes from John Toshack's assisant, Roy Evans, who says that they have been wondering who can step into Giggs place.
"But there are occasions where you have to get on without him and, at the moment, we do have other quality players who can come in.
"Paul Parry is one such player. His club form has been fantastic - he's really picked up, along with the likes of Joe Ledley and one or two others.
"He's been playing with a lot more confidence - no matter where he's played. He's been playing on the right and cutting in on his left foot. Now he's a serious contender for a place in the Welsh team."
The possibility of Paul Parry, who rise to fame started with Graham Turner and Hereford United, becoming the next Ryan Giggs is quite possible.
