Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that the visit of Accrington to Edgar Street next Saturday will be a 'fair test for us'.
"We know what they were about from last season; very competitive and a very combative side with a sprinkling of good players in there," said the Hereford United manager.
"We've had an indifferent start to the season; you talk to people from Shrewsbury and those associated with Accrington - they all think they have had good starts to the season, and yet we are on level points with them!
"It's a difficult league; it's a big step up from the Conference.
"I think they've found it the same as we have; it's hard to adjust to the extra quality and the extra pace in there, but we feel that we're doing it now."
