Talking to the press after yesterday's game, Hereford United manager Graham Turner said that his team had to get a result.
"We have played better than today at times in our last two away matches but we just had to grind out a result.
"That was by far the most important thing today and we have acheived it.
"It's a question of never mind the quality of play, feel the width of the three points."
John Trewick, interviewed on BBC H&W, also seem releived at just winning a game.
"We deserved it. The second half was a case of just going and going and waiting for the break.
"I thought Alan scored a cracking goal with his back to goal. He's worked and manouvered the ball and slotted it into the corner.

"We deserved to win the game. They're not going to,come here and lie down and give us the three points."
