Thursday evenings Sporting Dinner at the Three Counties Hotel proved to be a great success and was greatly enjoyed by those that attended. Introductions by our lord and master, Graham Turner, preceded a superb roast Herefordshire Beef Dinner, an auction and excellent entertainment from guest speaker Bob "The Cat" Beavan. Guests for the evening were joined at their tables by many of the players. The club were indeed fortunate to obtain the services of "The Cat" who, rumour has it, had rushed to the Three Counties direct from Exeter's end of season presentation evening. For those who were unable to attend, I would highly recommend the purchase of a ticket for the next one - a thoroughly good night out.
