Boston United chairman Jim Rodwell has admitted that the club may not be able to pay the players and staff for December unless more funding is found.
Parent company Lavaflow has apparently refused to inject more funds into the club, and the Supporters Club has issued a joint statement with the football club pleading with people to turn out for tomorrow's home match with Wrexham.
Rodwell talked to the local press about the owners: "They are disillusioned, there's no two ways about it and they are obviously highly disappointed that we didn't get the deferral that we requested. People are hurt at the moment and are reluctant to part with more hard earned cash."
In other news, Peterboro have agreed a £200,000 double swoop for Dagenham pair Craig Mackail-Smith and Shane Blackett. The England National XI pair will sign in January.
Bury have been given special dispensation to sign goalkeeper Lee Jones on loan from Blackpool after fellow loan keeper Andy Warrington was injured on Tuesday, leaving the club without a keeper for the final five minutes of the game.
New Grays manager Andy King, the former Swindon boss, has targeted a string of players for the January transfer window including ex-Everton starlet Danny Cadamarteri, Exeter's Jon Challinor, and Wycombe's Jonny Dixon.
