Bury have been thrown out of this seasons FA Cup after fielding an ineligible player in their Second Round replay win over Chester.
Hartlepool midfielder Stephen Turnbull did not have the correct permission to play in the game that Bury won 3-1. Chester will be reinstated as a result, but Bury have already stated that they will appeal. The appeal will be heard on December 28th.
