Torquay boss Lubos Kubik has acknowledged that he needs to strengthen his injury ravaged side - and quickly.
"I have no players" was the summing up of the injury crisis after Tuesday's draw with Wrexham. Just 14 fit players are currently available for the trip to Edgar Street from their 20 man squad. They named 16 for the Wrexham game only by adding the injured Jamie Ward to the bench. and lost Lee Thorpe and Kevin Hill during the match with injuries.
Kubik will scour the free agent lists both in the UK and abroad and added: "We had only the physio, (assistant) Richard Hancox and myself left - I was looking around for some registration papers. We need to sit down with the owner and Richard and prepare something, because really we need to have more players.
"We play next Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, and then the holiday games at Christmas. If players have no contract, maybe we can do something."
