Torquay manager Lubos Kubik spoke to the official Torquay website after the match:
"I think it was a big success for us because it was a very hard game against a good team. I must give my players credit because we played very well and created some good chances. They have taller players than and in the last 15 minutes they started to play longer balls and put us under pressure."
About the penalty that wasn't, he added: "From the bench, I saw what happened and I didn't want to win the game with that penalty, it wouldn't have been right. For part of the game, the guys played and moved the ball well. We don't have the players to play the long high balls. I try to push the guys to move the ball a little bit more."
