Now back home from his tour to raise money for the Hereford Multiple Sclerosis Society, Rob Powell has told the League Paper that League Two clubs are friendlier than those in the Premiership.
"It's not totally a case of the big boys not caring. Everton, Liverpool and Spurs were fanastic, but overall League Two gave me the warmest welcome, with Torquay, Barnet and Wycombe outstanding," said Rob
"In general, the smaller clubs are more friendly and easier to approach."
Meanwhile Hereford United secretary Joan Fennessy commented that Rob's feat was absolutely amazing.
"Let's face it, no-one would fancy cycling in the weather we're experiencing.
"Rob is one of our most enthusiastic fans."
