According to the official site, Neil Mackenzie has been recalled by Scunthorpe.
The recall is the second in a week, after John Eustace returned to Stoke, and leaves the Bulls short of experience in midfield. Scunthorpe sustained injuries to captain Andy Crosby and Joe Murphy in Saturday's defeat to Blackpool, and are also missing midfielder Matt Sparrow.
With competition for midfield places now a little thin on the ground, Graham Turner may look to recall Jon Wallis from his loan spell at Dover. Wallis, who has indicated a desire to return to the Bulls and challenge for a place, has played in every one of the nine games he has been eligible for Dover bagging one goal and creating at least four others. He has filled in both at right back and, more usually, in a central midfield role where he has the main responsibility for free kicks and corners.
