Rob due back tomorrow to see Torquay game

Rob Powell and his bicycle are due back at Hereford tomorrow, hopefully well in time for the kick-off of the Torquay match.

The Hereford United supporter will have visited more than 60 clubs and covered over 1,500 miles on his tour to raise money for the Hereford MS Society.

Yesterday he travelled to three Division Two clubs, Chester, Wrexham and finally Shrewsbury. Today he visits Wolves, Walsall, Aston Villa, and Birmingham City.

And before finishing at Edgar Street he will call in at the Hawthorns, the home of West Bromwich.

With all the rain in recent days Rob has arrived at most grounds soaking wet. Yesterday on the way from Wrexham to Shrewsbury he admitted to 'starting to look forward to getting back home now' and he said that he 'dreamed of driving a car rather than be exposed to the elements and have to pedal.'

At Shrewsbury 'I was taken into the ground for photos and expected to see the pitch flooded as the Severn had burst it's banks but it was still green.'

Rob hopes to have a collection for the Hereford MS society at Edgar Street tomorrow. Please support this good cause.
