According to this morning's Hereford Times, Andy Williams is suffering from ulcerated tonsils and could miss Saturday's game at Shrewsbury.
The game looks as though it will go ahead. River levels have dropped.
Manager Gary Peters is said by the Shropshire Star to be optimistic after most of the water has gone off the pitch.
"I got down here at 6am this morning and you could see onto the pitch," he said.
Meanwhile back in the Hereford Times, Graham Turner is quoted talking about the forthcoming third round cup tie with Bristol Rovers.
"It will be a tough game for us but we feel that we can deal with them.
"Rovers thoroughly deserved their victory (on Tuesday evening) and looked good."
