Kubik Leaves Torquay

Lubos Kubik, and assistant Miroslaw Nowicki, have left Torquay United after a disasterous stint in charge of the Devon club.

Kubik, a former Czech Republic international, arrived barely two months ago but won just two of fourteen games in charge and picked up only seven points. Rumours broke from Plainmoor on Saturday night that chairman Chris Roberts had openly told people in the club bar that Kubik was to leave.

Former Wolves boss Colin Lee is now expected to become the full time manager after a part-time consultancy role brought about most of the acquired points during Kubik's reign. Lee will become the ninth full-time manager in ten years at Plainmoor.
