Boston have added Rochdale midfielder Ernie Cooksey to their squad until the end of the season and taken striker Nathan Joynes from Barnsley on loan for a month. They have released midfielder Chris Holland, who has joined Southport. Mansfield have let striker Chris Beardsley join Rushden on a permanent basis after a loan spell.

Accrington have signed Crewe's former Everton midfielder Tony Grant as player/coach on an 18 month contract. Stanley have also rejected a cash offer for striker Paul Mullin, believed to be £75,000. Barnet have signed goalkeeper Robert Burch and midfielder Stuart Lewis on loan from Spurs. Notts County have released veteran midfielder Tom Curtis after failing to break into the first team.

Ex-Bull Chris Hargreaves is staying at Oxford after failing to agree terms with an un-named Football League club. Rochdale have signed defender Charlie Comyn-Platt from Swindon on an 18 month deal. Macclesfield have resigned Blackpool striker Simon Wiles on loan until the end of the season and taken 20 year old Ashan Wilgate from Swindon on a contract until May. Wiles was on loan at Moss Rose earlier in the season until injury saw him return to his parent club.

Bury have named Mike Sheron as the new Centre of Excellence manager. The former Man City player has been coaching in the Manchester area since retiring. Chester have signed striker Simon Yeo from Peterboro for an undisclosed fee after selling Gregg Blundell to Darlington for a similarly mysterious fee.
