Torquay have released defender Nathan Simpson and midfielder Darren Baxter with immediate effect. Simpson had not played in the first team since October, while Baxter managed his only appearance in their 5-0 loss to Mansfield. Former Bulls target Luke Rodgers has been ruled out for at least a month with a hamstring injury.
