Turner unhappy with defending

Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, told the post match press conference that "the problem is our defending."

The Bulls have conceded twelve goals in their last five League games. It's a long time since that has happened.

"We can't go on giving goals away like that. The first one was almost a joke."

Turner will have to change his defence next Saturday at Chester as captain Tamika Mkandawire is suspended. This will probably mean a return for Dean Beckwith, who has been on the bench for the last three games.

It's also a long time since Wayne Brown has conceded as many goals.



'Wayne Brown is Superman'

He hasn't looked at his best for several games. Whether being without the support of Bernard Day, the former Hereford United goal-keeping coach who 'left' Edgar Street recently, has affected 'Superman' is open to debate.

Brown was expected to run a goal-keeping course during the half-term holiday. It had been advertised in Bullseye for several weeks, but, for whatever reason, there is no mention of it in today's programme.
