Boston Struggle To Pay Wages Again

Boston United are again struggling to cover the wage bill for the month according to reports.

Last week, manager Steve Evans suggested the club were struggling to find the money as gates failed to pick up as the club struggled at the foot of the table. This week, veteran midfielder Stewart Talbot has told his teammates to ignore the off-field problems:

"The problems at the club this season have been well documented, but we can't allow that to effect us - especially at this crucial stage of the season. It's never nice not knowing whether you are going to get paid, but we have to remain focussed. Even though we are under a lot of pressure to get results, it's important to try to enjoy our football.

"Whether we win, lose or draw, there is no point walking around with our chins on the floor and being depressed - that will get us nowhere."

Boston have been forced to offload several players this season to cover the wage bill, and have been left with a threadbare squad. With Stephen Vaughan being ruled out for the rest of the season the club have just 15 of their own players available for the final weeks, with five of them injured, plus six loan signings.
