Ferrell gets his kick

Hereford United midfielder Andy Ferrell came off the bench yesterday to replace Steve Jennings who had been injured as Hartlepool scored their second goal.

Ferrell who hails from the North-East and is a big Newcastle United supporter had several of his family at the game.

Also watching the game were Sam Gwynne, Luke Webb and Dean Beckwith who had travelled with the squad.

Meanwhile the extent of the injury to Jennings is, as yet, unknown. The problem appeared to be with his knee.
