Ferrell Joins Kiddy

Bulls midfielder Andy Ferrell has joined Kidderminster Harriers on loan.

The hard tackling midfielder has fallen down the pecking order in recent weeks, and has been rumoured to be in the bad books with the coaching staff at Edgar Street for some time. Ferrell played 65 times for the Bulls since joining in the summer of 2005 from Watford, scoring three times.

He was sent off in the loss at Macclesfield in January, coinciding with the arrival of Ben Smith and Stephen Jennings, and has started only one game since. He will go straight into the squad for Harriers' Conference match with St Albans on Saturday.

There is some confusion over the length of the loan with Harriers claiming it to be until the end of the season, but the Bulls official site saying it is for one month.

He will be joined at Kiddy by ex-Bull Jon Brady, who has fallen out of favour at Cambridge United and joins on loan for the rest of the season. Brady played 24 times for the Bulls last season before being allowed to join Cambridge as travelling from his Northants home was a problem, but he has been a peripheral figure at the Abbey Stadium in recent weeks.

In other news former Bulls manager John Sillett's son, football agent Neil, is amongst the interested parties to buy Weymouth. The younger Sillett was previously a physio with a number of clubs and briefly relinquished his agents licence to manager Farnboro for 34 days in Feb/Mar 2005. The Bulls beat his side 6-0 during one of his five games in charge.
