Guinan announcement expected

An announcement about the future of Steve Guinans' loan at Hereford from Cheltenham Town is expected anytime.

Guinan moved to Edgar Street late in January and played for the Bulls on Saturday 27th against Notts County.

Last Friday Manager Graham Turner was quoted by the Official Site saying that Guinan was available for tomorrow's game at Hartlepool.

"He is available for our next three games before the initial spell ends," said Turner.

The implication from that statement has to be that Guinan's first loan period is for at least 35 days which isn't usual.

Normally loans are for a month (31 days) subject to a maximum of 93 days if that loan is extended fully.

So if Guinan plays at Hartlepool tomorrow it will look as though an extension of the loan has been agreed.
