Peterboro have signed Notts County captain Alan White on loan for the rest of the season. White, 31, was a regular at Meadow Lane and is expected to sign a permanent deal at London Road in the summer. The Posh have announced that their early initiative to boost season ticket sales has already seen 700 sold for next season.

Mansfield potential bidder Andrew Perry, one of the club's biggest sponsors, has reacted angrily to yesterday's statement placing the club up for sale. Perry claims he was refused access to the club accounts when he made an approach, and made a firm written offer for the club.

Bury will receive a £25,000 bonus if David Nugent plays for England. Bury sold the striker to Preston for £110,000 a couple of years ago. Dagenham have become a limited company to comply with Football League regulations. The club has always been a members club until now, but must be registered at Companies House in order to gain promotion to the Football League.

Boston's prospective new owners intend to move the club away from the existing York Street site, but have not yet agreed to the purchase despite handing over £250,000 to cover player wages. Standing Alone Ltd claim in a statement that they are waiting on details about the gate receipts from a friendly in 2001 before making a decision.
