Turner loans striker to Bath

Graham Turner is to loan a young striker to Bath City for the rest of the season.

The 19 year old striker has not been named but is thought to be Marcus Palmer.

Bath City manager John Relish knows Graham Turner well as they both at Chester City together.

"Graham Turner has agreed to let one of his very promising young lads - a quick striker who has been scoring goals in his reserve side - come to us on loan," said the City boss.

"I've know Graham since we played together at Chester and, if he says the lad we're getting is a good prospect who can do a job for us between now and the end of the season, that's good enough for me.

"We needed to get somebody in to keep the squad up to strength in the run-in after losing Scott Partridge for the rest of the season through injury.

"It looks like we've found a player who fits the bill and he'll be with us after the weekend because Graham Turner wants him available for Hereford's game against Accrington Stanley this weekend."
