The young referee who was the man in the middle at the Conference play-off final yesterday had his first League game at Edgar Street.
22 year old Michael Oliver took charge of the Hereford United/Grimsby Town game on March 10th and became the youngster ever referee in Football League history. Yesterday he became the youngster referee to take charge of a game at Wembley.
Michael is the son of another referee, Clive Oliver, who has also been at Edgar Street.
