Lincoln fans are set to complain to Bristol Police after they were pelted with missiles during their play-off match at the Memorial Ground. Complainants claim that the Police refused to intervene as the missiles reigned down for over 20 minutes, with around 100 supporters believed to be ready to lodge their dissatisfaction.

Crewe's plan to convert former Bulls loanee Matt Bailey to a centre half has seen former Morecambe defender Darren Kempson released from the club. Kempson won many plaudits for his performances in a Shrimps shirt, but has been limited in first team opportunites at Crewe with Dario Gradi telling the press that the player is 12 months away from being a League One regular. Bury lead the chase for Kempson's signature next season after he spent time at Gigg Lane on loan.

Former Bulls full back Michael Rose hopes to be fit in time for the new season after cruciate ligament surgery. Rose, who played 88 times for the Bulls over two seasons, expected to be out for six months after surgery in March but told the local press: "I can put my full weight on it, and now I'm starting to bend and stretch it properly. If I do everything they tell me to do it should be pretty quick."

Peterboro are set to sign Billericay winger Chris Whelpdale from under the noses of Swansea. The 20 year old is set to sign a four year deal at London Road in another asset grab from the non-league. The Posh are also chasing Walsall captain Dean Keates, having allegedly offered him a three year deal on more money than the League One newboys, and defender Chris Westwood.

The next man to exit the Conference for League football will be Ebbsfleet (formerly Gravesend) striker Charlie MacDonald. Gillingham have confirmed an interest, but face competition from three other Championship and League One sides. Barnet goalkeeper Lee Harrison has signed a new deal at the club. The 35 year old returned to the club as a coach, but reclaimed his former position between the sticks after displacing the released Ross Flitney.

Bristol Rovers have signed Welsh u-18 striker Josh Klein-Davies after his released from Bristol City but the club have released a trio of youngsters. Darlington are set to complete the signing of former Notts County captain Alan White, born in Darlington, after beating off competition from Peterboro.
