Oxford boss Jim Smith will continue in the job after discussions with his chairman. The 66 year old is expecting to operate a smaller budget for next season, but without the restraints of several players still on Football League wages. Aldershot have named Gary Waddock as their new manager. The former QPR boss has signed a two year deal.

Torquay have confirmed Leroy Rosenior as their new head coach. It is his second spell in charge of the side after a four year stint that ended in early 2006. Accrington have lost the services of midfielder Andy Todd after he opted to join Rotherham on a two year deal. Todd scored ten goals and played in every League Two game last season.

Brentford have released eight after their drop into League Two. Neil Shipperley and Lloyd Owusu head the list, but the Bees have signed John Mackie following his release by Leyton Orient. Wrexham have signed former loan keeper Anthony Williams on a two year deal. The former Carlisle man helped them avoid relegation on the final day.

Barnet have released striker Oliver Allen despite the youngster scoring four times in seven starts. The son of Spurs legend Clive left Birmingham during the season.
