Accrington have announced the signings of John Miles and Paul Carden. Striker Miles arrives after rejecting a new deal at Macclesfield where he scored five times in 32 games. Midfielder Carden rejected new terms at Burton to return to the Football League after leaving Peterboro last October. Club captain Peter Cavanagh has agreed a one year extension to his contract.

Shrewsbury have signed Northampton midfielder David Hunt on a two year deal. The 24 year old rejected a one year offer at Sixfields. MK Dons have released seven after their play-off failure.Jamie Smith, Adolfo Baines, Lee Harper, Gary Smith, Nicky Rizzo, Ben Chorley and Ben Harding have all been axed, with under contract striker Scott Taylor also being allowed to leave on a free transfer. One time Bulls target Dominic Blizzard has signed a two year deal with the club after making his loan spell a permanent move from Watford, while three others have been offered new deals.

Wrexham have signed Michael Proctor from Hartlepool on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell. The 26 year old striker or winger scored twice in nine games to help the Dragons escape relegation and has signed a three year deal.

Lincoln have released five player including striker Martin Gritton, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Mansfield, and keeper Simon Rayner, who was with Torquay for three months. Seven other have been offered new deals.
