Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope has been named the manager of the month for April. The Pirates won four and drew two of their games in the month, moving them up into the play-off zone.
Woking have named Frank Gray as their new manager. The former Scotland international had a brief spell in charge of Grays at the start of last season. He will be joined at the club by former St Albans boss Colin Lippiatt, who has become a director. Rochdale and Hartlepool have been charged by the FA over their stormy match last week. Three were sent off as Rochdale beat the then leaders, with Hartlepool midfielder Andy Monkhouse also facing a disrepute charge.
Barnet have released veteran pair Andy Hessenthaler and Paul Warhurst and have offered 35 year old midfielder Ian Hendon a coaching job, but not a playing contract, for next season. The club have also released three others including Conference winner Richard Graham. Crawley have stated that they will meet the May 11th deadline to pay off their CVA. In a statement, the troubled club confirmed that cash funds were in place to pay off the CVA just as soon as the administrators told them exactly how much is to be paid.
Mansfield have sacked a number of stewards after a light hearted end of season pitch invasion saw several stewards assault children. The local council have also cut the capacity of Field Mill in half over serious concerns about stewarding at the club. Darlington have 17 players out of contract this summer and have already told six to go, with more expected out of the door.
Peterboro have transfer listed six players with contracts for next season. The half dozen include strikers Danny Crow and Trevor Benjamin, with the club demanding a fee for Crow who scored 15 times last season but has struggled with injury this time round. Boston boss Steve Evans is focusing on his side's clash with Wrexham rather than the increasing rumours about a move to Chester: "Whether I'm with Chester or whoever next season, nothing is more important than Saturday's game and Boston United staying in the Football League."
